Comelico Valley
Comelico is called the union of the high Cadore's villages, Santo Stefano di Cadore, San Pietro di Cadore, Danta di Cadore, San Nicolò di Comelico e Comelico Superiore. T he language of this zone is very particular, it's called "ladino" and it's different from the others Cadore's dialects. This is is maybe the most isolated part of Cadore but due to this reason it's also the best for the quality of the air and for its architecture, with many example of historical houses. |
